Jane qualified from the Bath School of Physiotherapy in 1996, following completion of a Sports Science degree from Surrey University.

Since qualifying, Hand Physiotherapist Jane Thomson moved to Cheltenham and worked for 22 years in the NHS as a musculoskeletal physio covering the whole body with a special interest in hands.

For the last two years Jane has worked in a local Private Hospital treating all conditions again, but in particular post-operative knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, hand and spine patients.

Jane is a specialist hand therapist with 15 years of experience specialising in hand therapy including making splints, and in particular treats thumb arthritis, ligament injuries, fractures to the hand and wrist, de Quervains and tendon injuries.

In her spare time, Jane enjoys cycling, swimming and walking her Labrador.
